Who is Guillaume?

I am from Saint-Valérien-de-Milton and I studied in Saint-Hyacinthe where I obtained my DEP in agricultural mechanics. I also own with my parents a cattle and field crop farm where we grow cereals such as soybeans and corn.

How would you describe yourself in a few words?

I am passionate about everything I do, both at Ben-Mor and on the farm.

What is your position at Ben-Mor and what are your duties?

I am a cable splicer and I am also a team leader. My main functions are production, quality control, final inspection and training.

How long have you been working at Ben-Mor?

It's been 15 years since June 19. It was my former brother-in-law who told me about Ben-Mor and then it was the start of a great adventure!

What do you like most about working at Ben-Mor?

I am surely the first person to give this answer, but what I like the most is the material: steel. I like to handle cable and all kinds of cables. I am fascinated by everything that can be done with wire rope and all the applications.

I draw a parallel with the farm, because I also see myself as a sower at Ben-Mor. I like to pass on my knowledge to other employees and see that they have applied what I have shown them and it is a continuous chain.

I also feel a sense of accomplishment when I make a new product. I'm like, "I did that!’’ and that makes me very proud.

What are your favourite hobbies?

Working on the family farm is also one of my hobbies. To escape and relax, I like to attend Sportsman car races on dirt in Granby, Drummondville and Saint-Marcel.
